The foundation of our clinical and scientific activity began in the 1970s, when a group of researchers at the National Medical University initiated experimental studies on the regenerative potential of stem cells in animal models. These early studies demonstrated the positive influence of fetal-derived cellular material on neuro dystrophic and degenerative processes in damaged tissues and organs. Based on these findings, our founders continued scientific development and later translated these technologies into clinical medicine.

By 1987, our specialists became among the first physicians in the world to clinically apply stem cell therapy for severe hematological disorders, including cytostatic myelo depression and aplastic anemia. These pioneering treatments marked the beginning of a new era in regenerative and cellular medicine.

Following official approval from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in 2002, stem cell therapies at Mediland Stem Cell Therapy Center began to expand into multiple medical fields.
