You are just not another patient, trust me, they care about your well-being. I thought I would write to all MS patients considering treatment to give MS patients a clear understanding of what to expect and to share my experience. I came here after hearing about the successes they had achieved in treating patients with multiple sclerosis.
My personal history with MS is one of progression symptoms and I really wanted to stabilize my progression so I wouldn’t go any further. At the time of treatment in March 2021, my multiple sclerosis was close to confining me to a wheelchair. I was still walking, but I was using two canes to help me move. Before starting treatment, I talked a lot with the clinic representatives about all aspects, explaining the process to me and my wife.Seriously, there couldn’t be a better team or medical staff I’ve ever encountered. First class therapy in every aspect.
As for the treatment itself, I arrived barely able to walk around the building. Five weeks after treatment, I walked 100 meters on my own. So within 3 months of treatment the results were stunning for us. Even after the second month I stopped using canes and walked without assistance as much as possible. Then the situation leveled out a little, and I returned to using canes when necessary. For me, my MS has definitely not progressed and I would say that I am now about 20-25% better in all aspects of my MS symptoms.
It’s been 6 months since treatment and I’m about to start an aggressive swimming program to see how much exercise will help my condition.
